Payment Authorization Terms

Clear payment rules to protect customers and providers. Mobile-friendly, transparent, and compliant.

1. Overview

By booking a service on Urbance, you authorize Urbance to place a pre-authorization hold on your payment method and to capture the final service amount after job completion.

2. Pre-Authorization

  • Pre-auths verify funds and prevent fraud.
  • Hold amounts are based on quoted price ranges.
  • Holds are released automatically if no service occurs.

3. Adjustments & Extras

  • Any extras (materials, extended time, specialty tasks) require in-app approval.
  • You will receive a notification to accept or decline adjustments before capture.

4. Completion & Capture

  • Upon one-tap job completion by the provider, the final amount is captured.
  • Invoices are emailed and accessible in your account.

5. Disputes & Refunds

Report issues within 72 hours of completion via Support or AI Concierge. Eligible refunds follow the Refund & Cancellation Policy.

6. Security

Payments are processed via compliant gateways. Urbance does not store full card numbers. 3D Secure may be applied where supported.
